It Is Well (Demons Shall Flee) Adapted from "It Is Well With My Soul" by Horatio Spafford and Philip Bliss Adadpted/Additional Words and Music by Larry Holder Copyright (C) 2018 Larry Holder When peace like a river attendeth my way When sorrows like sea billows roll Whatever my lot, You have taught me to say It is well, it is well with my soul. At the sound of Your Name, satan's demons shall flee You alone are the One in control And my heart's cry shall be, 'til the end of my days It is well, it is well with my soul. Though satan should buffet, tho' trials should come Let this bless'd assurance control That Christ has regarded my helpless estate And has shed His own Blood for my soul. My sin, oh the bliss of this glorious thought My sin, not in part, but the whole Has been nailed to the Cross, and I bear it no more Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, oh my soul. And if I should be silent, the stars would cry out With a mighty and thunderous roll I will praise You, Almighty and Ancient of Days For in You, it is well with my soul. One Day I shall see a most glorious sight With the clouds rolling back as a scroll As the trumpet resounds, You, my Lord, will descend And Your grace evermore we will know. At the sound of Your Name, satan's demons shall flee You alone are the One in control And my heart's cry shall be, 'til the end of my days It is well, it is well with my soul. And if I should be silent, the stars would cry out With a mighty and thunderous roll I will praise You, Almighty and Ancient of Days For in You, it is well with my soul. It is well, it is well with my soul! |
