I wrote this song in the Spring of 1981, shortly before graduating from college, where I was active in international student ministry. I also recently shared this song at the new Spanish worship service begun at our church to help reach many of the Mexicans newly relocated here in west Tennessee. The flute part was newly added as I finished the MIDI sequencing. Any woodwind (or even strings) could be used in place of flute.
