1. Now standing beside you, what more can I say
Of the journey of moments that led to today?
To have and to hold you is all I desire,
Your presence beside me is all I require.
Stand still for this moment, as brief it may be.
There is no one but you, there is no one but me.
Then we will go onward, whatever life brings,
And sail to the heavens as love gives us wings.
2. I am thankful to God to have you by my side.
In the love we have found may we truly abide,
And live for each moment as a gift from above,
With each word and deed a reflection of love.
I treasure this moment, as brief it may be;
Through the eyes of my soul, you are all that I see.
From now till forever, whatever life brings,
Let's sail to the heavens as love gives us wings!
